My firm, The Architectural Studio, was the Architect for the Emerald Forest Condominiums in Covington, Louisiana.
The Owners of Emerald Forest hired [JRV Services] (previously known as Vargas Construction) to come on board and do various tasks to improve the quality of interior and exterior finishes. [JRV Services] would sand interior walls and retexture, reset doors not hung properly, and perform drywall patches to areas that were just not of the quality the Owner’s expected. They did extensive paint work throughout the property as well.
As the POR, I did monthly walks and inspections for the Construction Draws and could not help but notice the improvements Miss Vargas and her company had made. I know everyone was please with her work and felt grateful for having her assistance.

I am very please to write this letter of recommendation for Juana Vargas and JRV Services, L.L.C. I have worked with JRV Services during the construction for the Sterling LSU III, L.L.C. student apartments located in Baton Rouge LA. JRV Services provided the Drywall, Painting, Cleaning, Labor and Services for the project. JRV has always given professional service and has ben eager to work hand and hand with the TDC Builders Team to meet any concerns or scheduling issues which may arise during construction. It has been a pleasure to work with Juana Vargas – JRV Services and to have them part of our team. I found her easy to work with and a personable individual.
The project consisted of 235 units, 695 bedroom student apartments. This is a 5 story, Type III construction; interior corridors, elevators and stairwells were included; JRV Services, L.L.C’s. contract included drywall, painting and cleaning. JRV Services also provided additional labor force to be instrumental in keeping the construction site cleaned.
